COVID-19

A Message to Our Patients about

the Coronavirus Outbreak

In response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak, we want all our patients to know we are here to help you.

We need your help, too.

We will be asking you about:

  1. Respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath

  2. Travel history

  3. Contact with anyone who has the Coronavirus or may have become ill within the last 14 days

If you are experiencing symptoms, have traveled to a high-risk area, or have been in contact with a person diagnosed with a confirmed/unconfirmed case of Coronavirus, it is very important that you stay home and contact our office and we will discuss further instructions with you.

If you have a visit scheduled, you need to notify us if you have any symptoms of respiratory illness and we will provide instructions and alternative visit options.

For all routine visits, please consider the following options during this outbreak:

  1. Call our office and set up a Telemedicine visit

  2. Reschedule your visit for a future date

  3. If you MUST see a doctor, please practice social distancing in our office for the safety of other patients and our staff

Help yourself and others by conducting frequent hand washing and cleaning surfaces in your home, at work, or even in your automobile. Social distancing is deliberately increasing the physical space between people to avoid spreading illness. Staying at least 6 feet away from other people lessens your chance of catching COVID-19.

Stay informed. Please visit the CDC for reliable and up to date information at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus

August COVID-19 Update:

Our office is open during the Coronvirus outbreak, and we continue to develop safety precautions.

We will be screening all patients prior to each visit and in the office regarding health status and travel. If you have traveled to a state that is currently on the list for high risk we will be asking you to reschedule your visit after a 10-day quarantine.  If you have a fever you will be required to reschedule your visit to either a Telemed visit or for a future date and time.

At this time we will continue to encourage Telemedicine visits whenever possible.

If you need to see the doctor, please note that the following procedures have been put in place for the safety of all of our patients and our staff.

  1. Masks, properly worn over your mouth and nose, are required at all times.

  2. Your temperature will be taken prior to being seen by the doctor

  3. Please social distance in our waiting room and throughout your time in our office. We have installed plastic partitions and ask that you stand behind them when addressing our front desk staff.

  4. There may be times that we ask you to wait in your car for us to call you to come in.

  5. You will be asked to use hand sanitizer as you enter our office.

  6. We ask that you limit your time in the office as best as possible. Please do not linger in the hallways or at the front desk for any length of time.

  7. No guests or family members are allowed during appointments.
